The focus of this live educational preceptorship is to demonstrate multidisciplinary team working within the framework of National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) guidance in the management of advanced (metastatic) colorectal cancer.
After attending this live educationalpreceptorship, learners will be able to:
- Define criteria for the resectability of liver metastases from colorectal cancer
- Summarize current evidence on diagnosis and therapy for metastatic colorectal cancer patients
- Apply the multidisciplinary approach in the management of metastatic colorectal cancer patients
Colorectal surgeons, hepatobiliary surgeons, medical oncologists with an interest in colorectal cancer.
Important: Learners will need to be able to demonstrate up to date vaccination certificates for hepatitis B, measles, rubella and tuberculosis.
