Global Engage is pleased to announce the Probiotics Congress: Asia which will be held on 29 February - 1 March in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and will be co-located with the 2nd Microbiome R&D and Business Collaboration Congress: Asia.
As consumers become increasingly conscious about their health and purchasing power increases across the Asia-Pacific region, greater focus has turned to preventative healthcare products. With increasing awareness of the benefits that “friendly” probiotic bacteria possess, the probiotic market is projected to reach $US 46.55 billion by 2020 with the Asia-Pacific market alone expected to grow at a CAGR of 8% from 2014-2019. Aside from traditional benefits in areas such as gastrointestinal disease, probiotics are being targeted at new areas such as inflammatory problems, allergy prevention, cholesterol reduction and more. Increased funding towards probiotic research, a focus on personalised nutrition, a greatly expanding market and increased scrutiny on health claim substantiation has led this to be one of the most exciting times for probiotic research in the region.
Attracting over 150 attendees, this co-located congress will expand on our established microbiome series of events to explore the discovery and use of probiotics to treat and manage disease through a series of interactive presentations with leading academics and industry experts, panel discussions and an exhibition area allowing solution providers to showcase their products and services. We will look into the latest scientific findings as well as manufacturing protocols and regulations and how we can use probiotics to boost natural immunity and restore the microbiome.

The congress is confirmed to be held in Kuala Lumpur.
We are currently in discussion with a number of hotels and the venue for the meeting will be release shortly.
Poster presentation sessions will take place in breaks and alongside the other breakout sessions. At the conference, your presentation will be displayed in a dedicated area, with the other accepted posters from industry and academic presenters.
We also issue a poster ebook to all attendees with your full abstract in and can share your poster as a pdf after the meeting if you desire (though completely optional if you have unpublished data or other restrictions on what you can share in a distributable format).

In order to present a poster at the forum you need to be registered as a delegate. Please note that there is limited space available and posters space is assigned on a first come first served basis (subject to checks and successful registration).
We charge an admin fee towards the shared cost of providing the poster presentation area and display boards etc. These admin fees vary depending on the type of organization you are representing:

We will require the form (downloadable below) to be submitted by the 12th February. This is the formal deadline however space in another limiting factor so early application is recommended. Therefore please contact us with any questions you have as soon as possible.

Twenty Minute Prearranged One-to-One Meetings
You will be able to select which delegates you would like to meet in a series of prearranged twenty minute one-to-one meetings, held during break out sessions from the main conference agenda. In order to assist you with your choices, ten days before the conference we will provide you with profiles of all attending delegates and once you have made your choices we will combine this with delegate choices to provide you with a confirmed meetings schedule for the conference. Our conference team will be available at the sessions to ensure all your meetings take place on time.
Showcase your technologies and products throughout the conference to all attendees in the dedicated exhibition areas where all refreshment breaks and lunches take place as well as the networking drinks reception at the end of day one.
