This conference is designed for dermatologists, pediatricians, family medicine physicians, internal medicine specialists, ob/gyns, residents, nurse practitioners, nurses and physician assistants involved in treating diseases of the skin in adult females and pediatric patients.


 

Learning Objectives

As a result of participating in this live activity, participants should be better able to:


Evaluate and treat acne and rosacea in the adult female patient.

Formulate approaches to the challenges of hair abnormalities.

Assess treatment approaches for the pediatric and adult patient with common as well as complex skin diseases: acne, contact dermatitis and more.

Implement current strategies for managing challenging pediatric dermatology issues such as atopic dermatitis, acne, psoriasis and autoimmune disorders.

Recognize and manage cutaneous autoimmune diseases.

Summarize the efficacy and safety of fillers, toxins, devices, and techniques currently available in aesthetic and procedural dermatology

Detail new developments in the management of onychomycosis and other adult nail diseases.

Explain how to manage hemangiomas in infants and children.

More effectively individualize patient treatment strategies by considering the full range of current and emerging therapeutic options for atopic dermatitis.

Discuss the most recent information on the epidemiology and pathogenesis of atopic dermatitis and how likely to affect the management of patients with atopic dermatitis.
