Section on Allied Health: Assessment, Prognosis and Management of Traumatic Neck Pain is organized by North American Spine Society (NASS) and would be held during Sep 8 - 9, 2017 at Spine Education & Research Center (near Chicago), Burr Ridge, Illinos, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event basically for Pain Management, Chiropractors, Physiatrists, Physical/Occupational Therapists and other clinicians with an interest in treatment of traumatic neck pain.
This innovative, interactive course provides participants the opportunity to learn, apply and interpret new research and clinical knowledge to optimize outcomes of traumatic and non-traumatic neck pain, such as whiplash-associated disorder and myofascial pain syndrome. This CME conference has been approved with 13.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
What you will learn :
• Conduct a structured clinical assessment of patients with acute and chronic neck pain of traumatic origin
• Establish a prognosis for likely outcome and recovery trajectory based upon current best evidence on risk factors for chronicity
• Create a management plan for case studies based on their assessment and prognosis findings
• Compare and contrast differences in clinical presentation and anticipated outcomes between traumatic and non-traumatic neck pain
• Discuss ways in which sound assessment and management strategies can facilitate communication between patient-provider and between provider-funder or provider-litigator.
