Sydney Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre Effective Management of Anaesthetic Crises (EMAC) is organized by Sydney Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre and would be held during Jul 6 - 8, 2017 at Sydney Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre, North sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
The target audience for this medical event are Anaesthetists (Specialist, GP and non-specialist) & anaesthetic registrars. This CME conference has been approved with 10 points.
Objectives
• Understand medical error and adverse events.
• Undertake risk assessment, exercise judgement and formulate plans, which optimise patient safety.
• Respond rapidly in an emergency and apply systematic principles of emergency management.
• Develop competency in procedures including: direct and indirect intubation techniques; emergency surgical airway; cardiopulmonary resuscitation; cardioversion.
• Work effectively within a team and as a team leader.
