Welcome message:

This five-day course will provide a broad overview of selected radiology/imaging subjects of particular importance to diagnostic radiologists in clinical practice. A broad range of lecture topics, with emphasis on practical applications, will be presented. Topics will include, but are not limited to: breast imaging, chest, abdomen, musculoskeletal, ER, MRI, and CT.

Target Audience

This CME activity is primarily intended and designed to educate diagnostic imaging physicians who perform and interpret imaging procedures. It should also be useful in educating referring physicians who order imaging procedures as well as radiologic technologists.

Educational Objectives

Attendees should, at the completion of this course, be able to:

Effectively utilize diagnostic imaging modalities to evaluate chest, body, breast, and musculoskeletal disorders.

Recognize unusual disease processes in the chest, abdomen, breast and pelvis.

Explain how changes in workstation configuration and usage can potentially reduce repetitive stress disorders.

Integrate appropriate imaging protocols to assess chest, body, breast and musculoskeletal disorders into clinical practice.

No special educational preparation is required for this CME activity.
