Dear Colleagues, 
Following the success of our previous conference, It is our great pleasure to invite you to attend the 2nd International Conference on Heart & Brain which will take place February 27-March 1, 2014 in the beautiful city of Paris, France. Expert neurologists and cardiologists from around the world will convene in the heart of Paris which will explore the essential connection between cardiovascular health and brain function, presenting state-of-the-art research and breakthroughs. 
In recent years abundant new data has been accumulated regarding the relationship between the heart and the brain, and vice versa. New therapies continue to be developed and it is about time for the cardiologists and the neurologists to talk, to learn from each other, discuss and exchange ideas and benefit from one another’s expertise. This is the main goal of this conference and the scientific programme is designed to bring all the news from these two fields together into one place to facilitate this exchange of knowledge. 
You are invited and encouraged to contribute to the scientific programme by submitting abstracts for poster presentation and we look forward to your support and active involvement.

HOW TO BOOK

We strongly recommend that hotel accommodation is booked early and will be happy to be of assistance in all matters concerning hotel reservations for the Congress. 

Each participant will receive an individual confirmation, indicating the name and address of the hotel. Hotel reservations will be confirmed only after receiving a deposit of one night’s room charge payable by credit card or bank transfer within 10 working days from the day of booking. 

If hotel reservation is made by a sponsoring company, the participant will receive the corresponding hotel confirmation directly from the sponsoring company.

Please note that 3 weeks prior to arrival, your credit card will be automatically charged for the balance of your hotel accommodation. Participants who paid their deposit by bank transfer are required to send the balance of the accommodation charge to “ICHB 3/2012” Accommodation department, 21 days before arrival.

  • Cancellation of booking/nights received 15 days prior to arrival: full refund.
  • Cancellation of booking/nights received 14-10 days prior to arrival: one night charge.
  • Cancellation of booking/nights received less than 10 days prior to arrival: no refund.

Late arrival /early departure fee: If you arrive later or leave earlier than on the dates of your confirmed booking, the total accommodation amount will be charged and no refunds will be made. In the event of non-arrival, the hotel will automatically release the reservation and full payment will be non-refundable.

* Only Absracts submitted via the online submission form will be sent ot the Abstract Review Committee for review.
* Abstract submitted by fax or email will not be accepted.
* Please do not submit multiple copies of the same abstract.
* You will receive confirmation that your abstract has been received, indicating the abstract number which it has 
   been allocated. Please refer to this abstract number in all correspondence regarding this abstract.
* Please contact the Conference Secretariat if you have not received confirmation that your abstract has been 
  received.
* All abstracts will be forwarded to the Committee for review. Notifications regarding the status of the abstract 
  will be sent once the review process is complete.

  • Tables - A Maximum of 3 tables of up to 10 rowsX10 columns can be included in the abstract.
  • Graphs and Images - It is important to note that each image included in the the abstract is worth 50 words. A maximum of 3 images can be included.The mazimum size of each graph/image is 500KB. The maximum pixel size of graph/image is 600(w)X800(h) pixel. YOU MAY LOAD GRAPHS IN JPEG FORMAT ONLY.
  • Draft Abstracts - The submission form at the links allows you to store your abstract as a draft in order to make changes. Please note that abstracts must be SUBMITTED before the deadline in order to be sent to review for inclusion in the Scientific Program.

  3. I, the abstract submitter, grant the organizers royalty -free, perpetual, irrevocable nonexclisive license to use, reproduce, publish, translate, distribute, and display the content.
  4. The Organizers reserve the right to remove from any publications an abstract which does not comply with the above.
  5. I herewith confirm that the contact details saved in the system are those of the corresponding author, who will be notified about the status of the abstract. The corresponding author is responsible for informing the other authors of the status of the abstract.
