The 57th International Spinal Cord Society Annual Scientific Meeting (ISCoS 2018)
On behalf of Australia and New Zealand Spinal Cord Society it gives me great pleasure to invite you to the 57th joint Annual Scientific Meeting of the International Spinal Cord Society and ANZSCoS, at the International Convention Centre, 13th -15th September 2018, Sydney, Australia.
The ISCoS ASM is coming Down Under again after 18 years. This is a wonderful occasion to share knowledge and technology that leads to evidence-based best practice, standardization and innovation of key concepts in management of spinal cord injury. We hope to exchange ideas and discuss issues that affect our profession. In addition, we all have a common goal: to further the science behind innovative ideas and cure for spinal injury but also to deliver patient centred rehabilitation programmes which meet patient expectations.
There will be opportunity to mingle with world leaders in the field of research and rehabilitation related to spinal cord injury. This is also a perfect opportunity for sponsors, researchers, physicians and allied health to network and learn from each other. There are over 1,000 delegates expected to participate from all over the world.
Sydney, the capital of New South Wales and Australia's largest city, is best known for its harbour front, and Sydney Opera House, with a distinctive sail-like design. Darling Harbour and the smaller Circular Quay port are hubs of waterside life, with the arched Harbour Bridge and esteemed Royal Botanic Garden nearby. Sydney Tower’s outdoor platform, the Skywalk, offers 360-degree views of the city and suburb.
Sydney has been selected because of its spectacular location, weather, and friendly, warm culture. Just one hour by air travel to Melbourne, Brisbane, and little further to South Australia, Western Australia, Northern Territory and Tasmania. Christchurch and Auckland, New Zealand are three hours away. It offers gourmet international cuisine and great night life. Whatever you like to enjoy you will find it in Sydney, Australia.
ANZSCoS is excited and looking forward to welcoming you at the 57th joint ASM of ISCoS and ANZSCoS, at the International Convention Centre, 13th -15th September 2018, Sydney, Australia. So please take this opportunity to see and experience beautiful Australia and New Zealand.
On Behalf of ANZSCoS executive committee.

On behalf of ISCoS and ANZSCos, it gives us great pleasure to invite you to the 57th Annual Scientific Meeting of the International Spinal Cord Society combined with the 25th Meeting of the Australia and New Zealand Spinal Cord Society. This will be held at the International Convention Centre Sydney from 13th -15th September 2018, Sydney, Australia.
The ISCoS ASM is coming Down Under again after 18 years and we have good memories of the previous meetings we have held in Australia: 1988 in Perth and 2000 in Sydney. This is a wonderful occasion to share knowledge and technology that leads to evidence-based best practice, standardisation and innovation of key concepts in management of spinal cord injury. We hope to exchange ideas and discuss issues that affect our profession. In addition, we all have a common goal: to further the science behind innovative ideas and cure for spinal injury but also to deliver patient centred rehabilitation programmes which meet patient expectations.
We are convinced that the 2018 meeting will also be of a very high standard, combining an interesting programme, nice and friendly social gatherings and a good co-operation between our Societies. There will be an opportunity to mingle with world leaders in the field of research and rehabilitation related to spinal cord injury. This is also a perfect opportunity for sponsors, researchers, physicians and allied health to network and learn from each other. There are over 1,000 delegates expected to participate from all over the world.
Block the dates in your Agenda and we hope to see you all in Sydney 2018.
