The Scoliosis Research Society 53rd Annual Meeting & Course 2018
The Scoliosis Research Society Annual Meeting & Course is a forum for the realization of the Society's mission and goals, to foster the optimal care of all patients with spinal deformities. Presentations at the Annual Meeting & Course are given by leading experts in the field and have value for health care professionals who treat spinal deformities at all levels and in all ages. Over 125 papers will be presented on an array of topics, including adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, growing spine, kyphosis, adult deformity, trauma, neuromuscular scoliosis and tumors.
During a five-year period, held in North America. three times and outside North America twice.

2.5 - day program plus Pre-Meeting Course, including podium papers, Half-Day Courses, Lunchtime Symposiums and E-Posters.
Podium presentations are four minutes in length
Minimum two-year follow up required for abstract submissions, except those submitted to the Innovative Methods category
The Annual Meeting & Course is open to anyone involved in the treatment of spinal deformities including spine surgeons, residents and fellows, physician assistants, nurses and other allied health professionals, and researchers. The presentations selected from over 1,600 submissions will provide valuable information to all individuals caring for patients with spinal deformities.
All scientific and educational programing during the 53rd Annual Meeting & Course will be held at the Bologna Congress Center.

There will be multiple hotel options for you to choose from during the Annual Meeting in Bologna. Hotels are located either near the convention center or in the city center, which is a short drive/bus ride away from the convention center and where the majority of restaurants and attractions are located. Hotels in the City Center are a 10-15 minute taxi ride to the Convention Center or a 15-20 minute bus ride; maps and instructions will be provided to all meeting attendees.

All abstracts must be submitted online by Thursday, February 1, 2018. No exceptions will be made.
All abstract authors will be required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, an FDA Disclosure Form, an Attestation and Non-Exclusive Licensing Agreement during the online submission process. ALL authors listed on an abstract will be required to submit a financial disclosure form, including disclosure of ALL financial relationships, not only those pertaining to the topic of the abstract. In the event that all authors on an abstract have not completed these required forms prior to the submission deadline of February 1, 2018 the abstract will NOT be reviewed or considered for inclusion in either the IMAST or Annual Meeting programs.
