Course Description:

The UCSF Ophthalmology Update will update practicing ophthalmologists on advances in: glaucoma pediatric ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology, retina, oncology, oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery, cornea, refractive surgery, external disease and uveitis.


Objectives:

• Manage patients with dropped lens at cataract surgery.

• Understand long term results with anti-VEGF therapy in patients with wet age-related macular degeneration.

• Understand role of anti-VEGF therapy in management of patients with retinopathy of prematurity.

• Understand role of MIGS and micro-pulse transscleral cyclophotocoagulation in management of glaucoma.
