Ultrasound in Anaesthetics (Essentials) is organized by Australian Institute of Ultrasound (AIU) and would be held during Jun 12 - 15, 2017 at Australian Institute of Ultrasound (AIU), Gold coast, Queensland, Australia. 


The target audience for this medical event basically for anesthesiologists. This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 19.5 hours. This new intensive four day hands-on practical course provides anaesthetists and trainees with the opportunity to enhance their practice of regional anaesthesia and transthoracic echocardiography and lung ultrasound. 


Practical and Theoretical Sessions Include :

• Focused echo-cardiac ultrasound

• Regional upper and lower limb blocks

• Core and trunk blocks

• Lung Ultrasound 


Objectives :

• To review relational anatomy

• To identify the ultrasound appearances of the regions

• To discuss the scanning skills to optimise visualisation of the regions

• To provide clinical support regarding clinical techniques when using ultrasound
