Cardiovascular disease is now the leading cause of deaths worldwide. Globally, 17.5 million people die from cardiovascular disease annually, out of which Over 80% of CVD deaths take place in low- and middle-income countries. It is estimated that by 2030 almost 23 million people will die annually from cardiovascular diseases.

The field of Medical Sciences has been witness to a series of developments in the last few years. We have been empowered with better drugs and cutting edge technology to treat life-threatening diseases. Over time, advances in technology have changed the way cardiology is practiced. We have more potent drugs, effective new diagnostic techniques, next generation medical technology and novel therapies for high risk patients, which have emerged and are likely to evolve further. The World Congress on Cardiology and Cardiovascular Medicine-2016 dwells upon these recent advances and potential these means carry , while also envisioning of, what we can expect in future.

Not only is the pace of change in cardiology been faster than ever, but also the scope of cardiology practice has widened and requires closer interactions and deeper understanding other specialties. It is a real challenge to keep up to date with innovation, subspecialty developments in cardiology, rapid progress in basic, clinical and translational research, and changing guidelines! It is essential for the busy clinician to know what may really change practice, now and in the future, and what may improve current management of patients with cardiovascular disease.

The World Congress on Cardiology & Cardiovascular Medicine-2016 aims to provide expert insight into recent advances in key areas of cardiology, and a balanced perspective on how these may influence guidelines and patient management. The conference will cover an array of topics including subspecialties such as Imaging (i.e. CT, MRI, and echocardiography) intervention, acute coronary syndromes, valvular heart disease, arrhythmias and pacing, as well as prevention, and heart failure.

The vision behind this world congress is to serve as a unique global platform for cardiologists, cardiac surgeons and researchers from world-renowned institutions to share and exchange new clinical studies and advancements in dealing with cardiac diseases.

Submission Info

Authors are invited to submit abstract(s) using the submission form on this page Abstracts should contain sufficient detail on the techniques used and the results, which will be shown.

You will receive a confirmation when the abstract has been received. Please contact the conference secretariat if you did not receive confirmation within 5 working days.

Submission implies the intent of at least one author to register, attend the symposium and present the paper (either 12+3 minutes orally or in poster format). Contributions will only be finally accepted after registration and payment of the conference fee.

The abstract will be reviewed, and you will be notified of acceptance before 31st December 2015. Abstract submission will be closed on 20th December 2015. After which the abstract submission page will be closed
