The Conference Center at the Augustinian Patristic Institute (associated with the Pontifical Lateran University) is situated on Via Paolo VI along the left arm of the Bernini colonnade enclosing Saint Peter’s Square.
The Conference Center is located minutes from the historic center of Rome within easy reach of Castel Sant’Angelo or the Janiculum hill. It is easily accessible by public transportation either by city buses or the metro subway line. The metro Ottaviano station on line A brings the visitor to within a few minutes’ walk to the center. A short distance away is also the San Pietro train station. For guests traveling by automobile, there is a convenient parking area within the inner courtyard of the complex. Additionally, in the immediate neighborhood there is multiple-level car park for buses and cars, as well as a section there with a restaurant.
The Conference Center at the Augustinianum offers space for meetings and congresses at the national and international level. The Center is located away from the street and in front of a lovely garden creating a barrier from the noise of the city, and offering its guests tranquillity, quiet and concentration
“Father Agostino Trapè” AUDITORIUM
This Auditorium can accomodate 400 persons; 300 in the main hall and 100 in the balcony. The hall has recently been renovated and provides four booths for simultaneous translation. The Auditorium provides the necessary technical support for multimedia presentations and is equipped with a Wi-Fi connection.
“Small” AUDITORIUM
This smaller Auditorium has a capacity of 100, seating 70 in the main hall and 30 in the balcony. This hall, too, provides three booths for simultaneous translation, is fitted for multimedia services and is equipped with a Wi-Fi connection.
Meeting rooms and other services
Together with the Agostino Trapè Auditorium and the small auditorium, several other meetings rooms are available (1 with accomodations for 60 persons, 2 for 40 and 4 for 20) as well as a designated area for secretarial services and reception. Comfortable space for catering and coffee breaks is also available.
